Skinner Demo is a fully licensed and insured interior and exterior demolition contractor in the Greater Boston area, operating throughout New England with over 25 years of industry experience; along with our partners, we can successfully complete commercial, industrial and residential demolition projects of any size.

As a humble entrepreneurial with little equipment to work with, David Skinner purchased a trusty station wagon. The business was hatched cleaning out basements and attics. David started renting dumpsters in the late 1980’s under his personal name and later founded WDS-Wrecking Demolition Specialists. WDS operated a small fleet of trucks and performed selective demolition such as interior guts, boiler room dismantlement and house clean-outs. David sold the dumpster portion of WDS in February 2000. He continued to operate WDS as a demolition company only.

David founded Butler John’s Portable Restrooms with his father in July 2000 to provide portable restrooms to many of the same clients as WDS. David hired Sandro Santos to manage Butler John’s Operations. Within 14 months, BJPR was successfully sold to Handy House, Inc., an industry consolidator. In July 2002, David and Sandro Santos started YES Disposal, company that was 5 years later, acquired by United Waste Management.

After a short time on the sidelines David re-emerged and started Skinner Demo with Elber Diniz, a key employee from WDS, and his son Thomas.

Now, the company operates throughout New England and few other states, working on commercial, industrial, and residential projects of any size, with over 15 well trained and equipped crews, a fleet of 20 vehicles, Roll-Off Trucks, Skid Steers, etc. With the combined expertise of David, Tom, Elber and Sandro, Skinner Demo has created an entrepreneurial culture and built a strong hallmark for outstanding customer service.
